I installed Avast Mobile Security on my Galaxy Note II. While I was setting up Anti-Theft, it (Avast) notified me I had an issue:
"avast! Anti-Theft has discovered an incompatible SMS tool: T-Mobile My Account. This tool occupies a very high SMS receiver priority which conflicts with avast! Anti-Theft and will prevent avast! Anti-Theft to work [sic] properly. Uninstall the tool or contact its developers to solve the problem."
If I touch the screen, I see a menu titled "Select Action." One of the choices is "Fix issue." If I choose that opetion, the next popup says "The application (T-Mobile My Account) will be replaced with the factory version." Avast is then happy.
Until the next day.
Then Android will automatically update the T-Mobile My Account app and the issue comes right back.
What should I do? I cannot uninstall My Account.
I'd appreciate any help.
