Master reset

To perform a master reset on the handset, follow these steps:

Note: A master reset restores the original factory settings and can erase all downloaded content, including ringtones, camera images, contacts stored in the handset memory, and Java™ applications. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available). Back up all necessary data on the handset memory before proceeding.

• From the main screen, enter *2767*3855#.

OR

• To perform a master reset via the menu:

1. From the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select Reset settings.
4. Press the OK key to select the All check box.
5. Select OK.
6. Enter the password.
   • Note: The default password is 00000000 (8 zeroes).
7. Select Confirm.
8. Select Yes.
