Hey guys! I come to submit this discussion because I'm at a total loss. I've exhausted my knowledge on this, and myself 
, and need some help.
About a week ago I bought an ATT Galaxy Note i717. It was a good deal, so I jumped on it. I then bought an unlock code and carrier unlocked the phone so I could use it here on T-Mobile, which went flawlessly. I then noticed that I was connected with all the strength of an EDGE connection. And there it has stayed, not counting a couple times in the past week, driving me nuts as I can't read my emails, browse the net, watch youtube or netflix, etc, etc.
The couple of times where I actually did get 4G speeds was nice, although they happened randomly. I haven't been able to duplicate their happenstance. The 4G connectivity changed back to edge after I was out of range of my home wifi.
So the problem is I'm stuck on an EDGE connection. What do I need to do to get out of this rut? Many thanks for the views and comments to come.
