I have a Windows 8 laptop.
I followed directions to connect my v768 Concord Android phone to the pc using the cable that was provided. I had to install a driver for Windows to see the phone. After that, I had to hit OK for the phone to connect as mass storage device.
I was able to browse my folders alright but UNable to copy files over to the phone. It said it was write-protected. I tried several folders that I had created myself but they too had the same message -- write protected!
I had to unmount my SanDisk brand microSD card, then turn off the phone, and take it out and put it into a card reader and only then was I able to send the desired file over to the phone's card.
This is extremely annoying. Why bother providing a cable for transfering files if we are unable to do anything but just look at them?
