remove digital clock from LOCK screen using ice cream sandwich

I just updated my operating system to ice cream sandwich.

How can I get rid of the digital clock on the LOCK screen?

There is a setting in SETTINGS, DISPLAY, CLOCK, Show clock on lock screen.

I do NOT have this setting checked, and yet, there is a digital clock on the lock screen.

I do not want ANY clock or weather on this screen. How can I remove it?

Remember that this is on the LOCK screen and the icons cannot be dragged and dumped into a pail at the bottom of the screen.

I have seen that suggestion but it does not apply for the LOCK screen.

Anyone know how to do this?
