So I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 T999 on monthly 4G. A few weeks back, my phone randomly stopped working while I was at work. It shows four signal bars, but I have no call/text/data capabilities at all. My phone WAS working prior to this only with calls/texts, no data. So I contacted customer support about this and they put in an engineering request because they told me there was a documented issue in my area for this. They said I would hear back from them within 24 hours. Five days later, still no response. I contacted customer support again, and got the same run around. They yet again put in an engineering request and said I would have an answer within 24 hours. Yet again, I was forgot about. So tonight (roughly three weeks later) I contact them again, and am told that there is "ongoing maintenance" in my area and that's why I'm experiencing problems (keep in mind I've been having this issue for about a month now). Then I get the same line as before of being told it will be fixed right away, etc. Meanwhile, I'm stuck paying for a phone that I can't use when I'm at work 13 hours a day. Has anyone else had any experiences like this? I'm beyond frustrated with being told it's a known issue that'll be resolved, and then nothing happens! T-Mobile certainly doesn't seem to care about my business, so maybe it's time I take it elsewhere.
