How to add or assign contacts to a caller group

1. To add contacts to a caller group, follow these steps:
2. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
3. Scroll to and tap the contact you want to add.
4. All contacts must be saved to sim to create a caller group.
5. Tap the Menu key.
6. Tap Edit.
7. Scroll to and tap Groups.
8. Scroll to and tap the desired group.
9. Tap Done.

OR

1. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Tap the Groups tab.
3. Scroll to and tap the desired group.
4. Tap Add member.
5. Tap Select all or tap to select the checkbox next to each contact you want to add.
6. Tap Add.
7. Note: Only contacts that are saved to the phone, not to the SIM card, can be added to groups.

To create caller groups, follow these steps:

1. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Tap the Groups tab.
3. Tap the Menu key.
4. Tap Create group.
5. Enter the group name.
6. Tap Save.

Picture ID - set to caller group - Not supported

Setting or assigning a picture ID to a caller group is not supported

How to set or assign a specific distinctive ringtone as one of the properties of a caller group

To assign a distinctive ringtone to a caller group, follow these steps:

1. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Tap the Groups tab.
3. Tap Groups.
4. Scroll to and tap the desired group.
5. Tap the Menu key.
6. Tap Edit group.
7. Tap the Ringtone.
8. Select one of the following options:     
   • Default ringtone
   • Sound
   • Phone Ringtone
9. Scroll to and tap the sound file you want to use.
10. Tap OK.
11. Tap Save.

How to automatically synchronize contacts with T-Mobile.com using T-Mobile Contacts Backup

When you open T-Mobile Contacts Backup on your device, you will be asked how you would like to backup your T-Mobile contacts

There are two options for syncing your device below

• Always in sync (Keeps your address book in sync with T-Mobile Contacts Backup, every time the customer makes a change to it)
• One time sync (Syncs the address book with T-Mobile Contacts Backup just once, not ever time the customers makes a change to it)

Once you make your selection, Tap Sync Contacts Now and the Samsung Vibrant will begin syncing the customers contacts with T-Mobile.com

1. From the T-Mobile Contacts Backup home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings.
