Phone won't power on

I had my S2 lockup the other day so I pulled the battery out and when I tried to turn it back on it wouldn't do anything.  Even if I plug it into the charger it does nothing,  I've tried the battery from my wife's S2 and still nothing.  my batter and sim card works in her phone but nothing in mine.  I contacted Asurion and they said it should be covered under the manufacture warranty and they couldn't help me.  So I bought it online from Best Buy, can I take it to a T-mobile store and they can do the warranty work or do I need to go to Best Buy or contact Samsung directly?
