One to two weeks ago, got a T-Mobile simcard and tried activating using my old AT&T number (T-Mobile website says it is available). Things go through, but the site gets an error at the payment, so I waited and made it today. But using the phone only gets me to T-Mobile automated message asking if I want to start a new service.
I get a hold of a representative who can't pull up any information using the phone number. She gets me a new number activated for my phone (Let's say AT&T one is A, and new one B).
I check the balance of A and find that it has ~$13, sim card value plus $10 I made today, and B is zero. I make another call to ask the balance to be transferred, but instead, my call gets transferred around about 5 times, and the last representative just speaks what she wants and then hangs up. It wasn't an automated message. Some of them that did talk to me say they can't pull up any information on A, even when using the order number.
As I clarified to them, payment was made to T-Mobile using their website, which I saved including the order number.
Very annoying. While I'm likely to stay with T-Mobile for it is the only company I know of providing a plan I want, I'm getting a very bad impression. Let's see how it goes.
