After the recent update to Android 4.0.3 (HTC Sense 3.6) the Wi-Fi function on my HTC Amaze 4G no longer works. The phone is not rooted or anything fancy like that.
There are several issues:
1. Sometimes it never turns on (the button is grayed out).
2. When it does turn on, sometimes it says "Scanning" for a very long time but usually says "Disconnected".
3. It never finds any Wi-Fi Networks
4. The two already defined Wi-Fi Networks always say "Not In Range" when, at the moment, it is 2 feet from the access point.
5. The defined Wi-Fi network profiles cannot be removed. If I long press and select 'forget network' they just stay there.
6. I've rebooted a number of times and #1 and #2 on this list will change slightly (clickable instead of grayed, etc) but the rest stays the same.
