Hello, A few weeks ago my son bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 and went with the value plan. I was shocked he paid over $600 for the phone with the down payment and 20 payments of $20 but on paper it came out to be okay in the long run. Now comes my problem. I want to upgrade to the Samsung Note 2 and they want me to pay full price which is $700 with tax. Why should I have to pay that when we are already on the value plan and we are already locked in for 2 years. Why would the 2nd and 3rd phones be full price?? That makes no sense to me. What do I gain from paying $700 when we are already on the value plan anyway?? The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is $300 all over town, so why on earth do I have to pay $700?
I think since we are already on the value plan I should get the phone for $299 just like Verizon and Sprint and AT&T. I would see this as being a good deal if paying $700 had some benefit for me, but since I am already on the value plan what justifies me paying full price?
