I contacted Customer Service over 2 weeks ago requesting for the subsidy unlock code for my Huawei Sonic 4G. Since I haven't gotten a response (supposedly in the form of an email), I contacted Live Chat to see if I could this resolved. Per their recommendation I am posting my request here to try and get this resolved, i.e. obtain the Unlock Code to unlock my Sonic 4G. This is the transcript:
%Easter R: Upon checking on the memo it shows that the unlock code for the imei of your mobile broadband is not found. I am sorry for the inconvenience however upon checking further it shows that mobile hotspot devices canot be unlocked.

ME: I have already read that document, I've seen this problem(Sonic hotspot getting unlocked) in the t-mobile forum resolved. Now I have to go and post my problem there.
ME: then hopefully it will get resolved there. Since other t-mobile customers have successfully gotten the unlock code from t-mobile.

%Easter R: I can see that on the link the unlock code was provided. I suggest that you post your message in forum as well so that this could be taken care as the unlock code request that we are using doesn't have your hotspot device on the list therefore no unlock code can be generated. Aside form posting in forum you can also call our Customer Care at 1 800 937 8997 for further assistance.
