I saw the document that details a few cities in phase 1 which occurred end of March for a few cities like KC. I am wondering when some of the larger cities and eventually nationally, when LTE is flipped ON (I was told by a tech that my city has the upgrades to the towers but it just is not ON yet), will my device get an update to make use of it ? I have the Samsung Galaxy S3. And while I understand when it came out there was no indication it would work on a TMO LTE network, all unofficial statements given by staff indicate that an update will come OTA at some point before end of the year which will add the option to make it Automatic (network selection by default is Automatic so if the software reads LTE/GSM/WCDMA--Auto that would be just like say the same phone on Verizon). So my question is simply this: Will an OTA be made for TMO variant of the S3 to allow it to use LTE by end of 2013? Thank you in advance for the feedback.
