Hi,
Over the past several weeks I have repeatedly contacted customer service to request an unlock code/instructions for my t-mobile 4g mobile hotspot. I pointed out that other users of this forum have successfully "unlocked" the Huawei device. After being informed about the need to wait 60 days and invest at least 50.01$ in services, on top of the paid-in-full device, I was then told that it is impossible to unlock.
Today I finally spoke to a floor supervisor who politely told me, once again, that it is impossible to unlock any hotspot device. He further added that t-mobile policies makes it impossible for him to even research the issue and request an unlock code (I had explained about the UMG597 -> E587 model number switch as indicated in another thread in this forum.)
Is there any kind soul on this support forum who can help?
