I've had the Galaxy S Blaze for about 9 months, and it's been perfect until recently. A few weeks ago it began charging S.L.O.W.L.Y or sometimes not at all. Previously, it took about 2 or 3 hours from 50% to 100%, even when in use. Nice. But now it's 10 hours, or 20, and the phone sometimes doesn't reach 80%. I have everything off, including data, and sometimes even the phone itself is off, and it still charges slow and not all the way. I replaced the battery, but it still charges slow. I swapped out chargers, no improvement. I always used my old Motorola charger (from my Cliq XT) that had 850 Mah. Thought maybe that was the problem so I switched to the charger that came with the phone, 1000 Mah, and it goes EVEN SLOWER!
Last night I turned the phone OFF, plugged it in at 70%, and this morning the phone says 50%.
I removed all background operations. Removed Facebook. Using Du Battery to monitor usage.
I'm beginning to think the malfunction is in the phone. Perhaps a loose charging port.
By the way, the charging notification definitely says AC and not USB, so that's not the problem.
Does anyone have advice or experience with this?
