What do I do now

Finally got rid of AT&T because I had great T-Mobile coverage when they were part of Cingular and they finally have iphone sim cards.  I had an unlocked (not jailbroken) Apple 4 so jumped at the opportunity to ditch my carrier of 20+ years.  When Cingular became AT&T, AT&T gave me a MicroCell so I could get reception in my house.  Told the sales rep the whole history before signing up and porting my number (thereby dropping a great AT&T rate that is no longer available.)  Drove home and on the way had between 2 and 4 bars of service in an area that the coverage map shows as dark green.  Got into the house and the phone immediately went searching for service and came up with "no service."  Located one corner near a window where I could get 1 bar.  Got on-line to see if T-mobile had the equivalent of the MicroCell and came across the Cel-Fi (for close to $600 thank you very much.)  Went to T-mobile.com, looked up Cel-Fi and got the "update" that although T-mobile used to give the Cel-Fi to customers in my position, that service "is no longer provided."  So what do I do now?  Cancel my T-mobile service and go back to AT&T.  It's a shame because there were all kinds of reasons that I wanted to become a loyal T-mobile customer, but what good is a cell phone if it doesn't work where you need it most - at home.  Without service there are no calls and no texts.  No way for family, friends or bosses to contact me.  I shouldn't have to (and will not) switch phones (to one that has wifi calling) to switch to T-mobile.

Hope someone out there has an answer that lets me have my cake and eat it too.
