Can't get a reasonable upgrade after 13 years of service

I  am a truly frustrated and disappointed customer of Tmobile.  I have been loyal and stuck it out  for over 13 years when the company was originally Ominpoint and then changed to Voicestream. So why if I inquire about a phone upgrade am I having to pay full price for the phone just like a new customer would? I get that phone subsidies aren't being offered due to no contracts existing but what is Tmobile offering to hang unto their loyal. I have 2 phones now with the company and was considering adding a new line for my daughter but it doesn't seem like there's an advantage to doing so.AT&T is offering iPhone 5s 64GB for $400 upfront with a 2 year contract! What matters to me is good service and ATT has that and I don't have commitment issues so a contract won't be a problem? Plus If you are switching from another carrier, ATT will give a monthly credit off of the bill. It seems to me they are going above and beyond to win and keep customers. I called into customer service to inquire about upgrading and the rep didn't even sound like they cared about my time or my concerns but Tmobile wants to build their customer base but how can it be successful if you can't keep the customers you already have happy? I go into the store but the reps are more concerned with changing around my rate plan than listening to my concerns. Why should I have to fight Tmobile to make them want to keep me when I can easily take my 2 lines elsewhere since Tmobile isn't concern about me? At least ATT make attempts to make you happy. I'm so over the lack of true customer service.
