Learn how to troubleshoot Wi-Fi Calling e911 problems. If you have not added an e911 address to your My T-Mobile account, you will see the error 'REG09: Missing 911 address' when you try to use Wi-Fi Calling.
When you dial 911 using Wi-Fi Calling, your location may not be automatically provided to the dispatcher. To help save time in the event of an emergency, you will not be able make and receive Wi-Fi calls until an e911 address is provided.
Troubleshooting steps
To add an e911 address, follow these steps:
- Open the T-Mobile My Account application.
- Tap Account info.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap 911 Address.
- Enter your home address.
- Tap Continue.
Note: Allow up to one hour for the e911 address to update.
