So I just recently switched from a Samsung S2 to an iPhone 4s I picked up from my uncle, and wow the quality of my service is noticably different.
I see my service dropping from time to time, but especially in my room, it drops all the time and the call quality in my house is garbage. Secondly, the Edge is so bad its not even funny. I see some people here on the forums saying they can watch youtube on Edge, yet I can't even load yahoo's front page. Now from time to time its alright, and when I get really lucky, I'll get 3g (but it's shortlived) and I go back to edge and back to ridiculously slow internet.
So I guess my question is, how do you guys put up with Edge and how do you guys put up with the service dropping? I read on the forums that I should restore my phone and my uncle did that once before he slipped my sim card into it but I went ahead and did it again since the service was still dropping. Also, I read about the refarming and I was wondering if anyone here is from Irvine/Tustin and having the same issues and if you guys are picking up any 3g signal? Because really the only reason i switched over to the iPhone was because I heard there was going to be faster internet and I love how the iPhone functions.
