I bought a phone online and about a month into using it I kept getting an error message saying "not registered to network". I looked up the IMEI and found out it had been reported lost to T-Mobile. I then bought a different phone online (from a more reputable website this time), got a new SIM card, and now I am still getting the same message. Did T-Mobile block my phone number because I used a phone with a bad IMEI? Or is this just a coincidence? Do I need to call customer service and ask them to turn my number back on? I paid my bill today and got a new SIM card and the customer service rep did not say anything about me being blocked.
