Unfortunately for me I had just bought a couple handsets back in December which are T999L and even further back a year ago two T999. I upgraded to 4.3. Ever since the upgrade to 4.3 on my T999's there has been massive battery drain which seems to have sort of slowed down by switching of a few things which include the T-Mobile diagnostics... which I believe is completely unworthy anyways because you don't really need any of my data to fix my phone. I generally know how to fix my phone myself. In any case you will just ask me to clear a cache which I do anyways and reset my phone which is completely ridiculous but seemingly compulsory. Now, I cannot downgrade. I cannot flash. I cannot trigger a flag or any possible warranty will be trashed. So, I reset on of the T999Ls that was having serious problems which massive numbers of popups and highly useless to be honest. Then I went on my T999 to have a close look and I have tried to uninstall, block, stop, or however all the KNOX apps. Everything I tried failed because I will not root, flash a rom, or so on to fix a tiny problem. Now I get on the phone with T-Mobile and I also chat online within the same 24 hours for a resolution. I still have none. Here is that problem. The only way to uninstall KNOX is to install the rest of KNOX yet I refuse to accept anymore Terms of Service because I refuse to waive or put in contract anymore of my rights and responsibilities to KNOX. I talked to chat and they told me the only way to remove it is to access the app with a password. I told them right off the bat I am not accepting anymore terms and if they continue to demand me to accept anymore terms I will rescind any of the terms and demand new terms. They told me to talk to Samsung. I told them that I didn't want to talk to Samsung. What I did want to talk about was the fact I bought all 4 phones at T-Mobile. I do not care who manufactured them. You might be selling me internet, voice, and text but you also sold me phones. I did not buy them from a product manufacture. I bought the phones from T-Mobile. So, after that clarification they told me not to install and do nothing. But I still have not been able to get an answer about how I uninstall this app without agreeing to more terms. I feel like I am being backed into a corner. I told them that the KNOX popups themselves were as bad if not worse than MS Paperclip. Now my total question is after all of this is how do I get rid of KNOX without creating a password? They told me how great KNOX is though and yet... I don't need it. I browse the web. Listen to music. Call. Text. Email. I do not need to use a virtual machine inside my phone. I already have virtual machines. I simply do not want to agree to more terms just to get rid of the app.
