I just bought a Nexus 5 phone from Google Play. I purchased a Sim card from the T-mobile prepaid site. I registered these things on the T-mobile website and have even payed for my first month ($30). It has been two days and I still have not received the transfer complete text nor do I have any service.
A little background. I decided to switch from T-mobile to Sprint. I still kinda owe sprint a few hundred..I stopped using sprint because they kept giving me faulty devices but refused to replace them. Warranties and insurance were all expired and they wanted me to sign up for another 2 yr contract for a cheaper price on a new phone. I have since stopped paying them until I can get back on my feet with finances. However I need a phone to keep my job, so I decided to go with T-mobile.
I have opted to transfer my number from sprint so I can continue to have my same number. I believe this may be the factor that is preventing the service, but I want the peace of mind of hearing it from a T-mobile rep.
I am also very fickle and I am trying REALLY hard to keep my number from Sprint.
