Tmobile bought my original carrier, Suncom, in 2005. So I've now been with Tmoble almost 10 years. Everytime I attempt to upgrade to a new phone there is always an issue with my plan because I dont have a Tmobile "plan". 3 years ago I upgraded my phone and was told I had an unlimited data plan. Within 2 weeks of downloading my bill was $2000 and it took the store rep 6 months to realize that the plan was not offered to plans "grandfathered in". Within that 6 months I had to call every month and request overides and credits and also had my service and the 2 other lines disconnected due to an error made by the representative. I pay Tmobile every month, so how can you deny my the same service you offere to your other customers? I didnt ask to be bought by Tmobile. Why would you not offer to convert me to a Tmobile plan free of charge? Why should I have to pay when I've been a so called "valuable customer" for almost 10 years?
This week I was told on the phone by customer service that I could get a cheaper data plan if I upgraded my phone. Well why not? I went into the store selected a phone and during the check out process was told on both days the system was down and I should call customer service and request that they do the upgrade and express the phone to me. Well that didnt go well. Customer service told me i dont have a Tmobile plan and would need to pay $150 to convert to a new plan before I can upgrade? That just makes no sense! Thats just unfair! Where is my value in being a longtime customer? All I want is a new phone and after 10 years Tmobile is still attempting to make more money from me because I was "Grandfathered in". I am disgusted with the level of service being providing to me. Like really?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
If I was previsouly able to upgrade why is it a problem now? Tmobile comes up with new ideas that are unjust so that deliberately make more money.
And the fact that store reps and customer service are NEVER on the same page is beyond frustrating.
