My daughter's phone keeps shutting off. It happens after the display times out. Instead of just going to sleep like it should, it completely shuts off. Sometimes we can get it to come back on after several attempts at holding down the power button. But then it has to go through the start up. Sometimes that does not work and she has to take out the battery and sim card. The battery is still showing as being charged, so it does not appear to be a battery problem. I thought it was just her and that she had apps that were using too much memory or something, but I switched phones with her this weekend and checked the memory and settings and it does not appear to be any problems there either. It just keeps shutting off. If we set the display to never time out, then the phone stays on, but having the display on all the time eats up the battery, so that is not a good option.
