Maintain "Pay By The Day" Account as "Once-a-Year-Tourist"

Hi everyone,

I'm a German tourist to the States on a regular basis (once a year) and I want to use the $2-Version of "Pay By The Day" when I'm in the USA.

My account is already activated, but I couldn't charge the account via Credit Card. Probably because it's an international one - so I have to use those prepaid cards, which you get at Walmart, ... . That's not very convenient, but it's ok.

If I charge $100, I'm a Gold Rewards Member, right? So my Account and my Balance is "safe" for a year.

Let's say, I use the Service for 20 days, so there will be $60 ($100 - $2*20 = $60) left.

11 months later, I will be back in the USA. My account is still active, but not for a long time any more. I'll charge $5 more. What are the expiration dates now?

  1. $65 for exactly one more year? (Everything renewed with Gold Rewards Status)
  2. $60 for the left month and $5 for exactly one more year? (Just the new charge renewed, but with Gold Rewards Status)
  3. $65 for exactly 3 months? (Everything renewed, but without Gold Rewards Status)
  4. $60 for the left month and $5 for exactly 3 months? (Just the new charge renewed, and without Gold Rewards Status)

And what happens, If I don't charge the Card for more than 12 months? I assume, my balance (=money) is lost - but is the SIM still active? If not - could I reactive it? How?

Sorry for my bad English.

Thanks,

Michael
