Has anyone gotten this resolved - renewed contract without my knowledge?

Has anyone gotten a good resolution back from Contract Review folks?

Or do they just offer you free phones and get you locked in again, or something like that?

My phones are already 2 years old, so wouldn't help me any.

How could they do this, and get away, with sooooo many customers? Was this related to the potential AT&T merger?

Must be some kind of big scam that many CSRs must be doing - probably because they receive incentives for doing so?

And many, like myself, wouldn't even notice such things until much later.

My contract had gotten extended back on April 29, 2012. And the only reason I found out is because, as per my understanding, my contracts on my 5-lines should be ending soon, so I wanted to see what my options are - upgrade, switch to AT&T or Verizon or Sprint (so I can get iPhone).

Exact same thing for so many of us!! I have been on auto-pilot (autopay, with hardly ever bill changing to monthly amount) for last 8+ years. Same trick - loyalty discount of $180 at 1.5 year mark. And the way they have done this contract extension is very cunning way - my bills still show exactly same amount, so I don't care to look further. And unlike the other person, I was not even asked for loyalty discount (I know that nothing is free in this world. I have 5 lines. Getting about $300 dicsount per phone, a contract renewal or extension means about $1,500 to me. As my kids always want the newest and the bestest phones out there). I talked to several folks and Customer Service folks were nice, but could only say one thing - write to Contract Review. Which I did. 4 days later, when I call them again, they told me that the note in the account says, it would take 20 business days. That's a month! In that time, I am missing out on all of the holiday specials on Galaxy S3 - Black Friday, Sat/Sun in Walmart, or Cyber Monday. The only thing I remember calling them around that timeframe was to drop one of the lines, and they told me that it would cost me $200. I am paying $5 per month. So, instead, I thought I will ride it out for 8 more months - would cost me $40. I was disappointed, as I was still going to have 4 lines. But nobody offered any loyalty discount, and I wouldn't agree to such a scam.

I'm so angry with these guys. I'm going to write to Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau. We should collectively sue T-mobile for cheating everyone like this. With multiple folks, this would be considered seriously.
