Battery is killing me and I am frustrated with T -mobile

I'm sad and really just venting.

I just got my phone Monday and the battery has been draining about 10% every hour with little use. Since I ordered the phone through customer care I can't go to a store for help. All the phones are on back order so my only option right now is just to mail back the phone leaving me with no phone and possibly choosing a different one.  I've also spoken with Samsung several times today and I'd also have to mail everything to them for any help.

 

I've had T-mobile for 11 years and they have always been helpful, I've never been one of the people that are say fix my problem or I'm canceling my service, but I'm really frustrated that there is nothing that can be done to fix this problem that wouldn't leave me with no phone for at least a week to two weeks.

 

This morning one of my many calls to T-mobile tech support, the lady said it was a known issue and that I was to delete my google account then add it back on. When that didn't work, my next call to them the representative said that it was not a known issue and was surprised the person said that it was.

 

I just want a working phone. :-(
