Nexus 4 Price Question

Below is a quote from your press release (http://newsroom.t-mobile.com/articles/t-mobile-announces-holiday-lineup).

Google Nexus 4:

  • Available via Google Play on 11/13 and in select T-Mobile retail stores and online starting 11/14
  • Value Plan: $199.99 out of pocket down payment and 20 equal payments of $15 per month with a two year service agreement on qualifying voice and data plans
  • Classic Plan: $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate card and two-year service agreement on qualifying voice and data plan

Now, the way I read that is that the Nexus 4 on a value plan from T-Mobile is $199.99 + $300 (20 * $15) = $499.99.

However, I can buy the phone unlocked from Google for $299 (8 GB) or $349 (16 GB) at https://play.google.com/store/devices/details/Nexus_4_8GB?id=nexus_4_8gb

Are you going to be lowering the Value Plan price to align with Google? Or are you trying to gouge uninformed customers?
