Mail in Rebate rejection twice

I bought a samsung galaxy s3 a few months back (in Spetemeber) which had an offer with 100$ mail in rebate. I was out of country for a few weeks so my phone was on suspension for about 20 days. As soon as I came back, I got my service reactivated and submited the mail in rebate form. I asked a couple of times from the rebate support if my device and plan fulfill the rebate requirements and I was informed, yes, there should not be any problem. I have been rejected twice and this is very harrasssing and annoying. First time they reject it because of the seasonal suspension, I got it  rechecked. Now they have again reject it. If the sole purpose of mail in rebate is to just harrass the customer and reject it one after the other, why do they put such offers?

Btw, I'm on a classic 500minute talk and unlimted data(2gb on 4g) plan which clearly satisfies the rebate requirements.

Now I'm worried that since its impossible to get the mail in rebate from T-mobile, I just ordered another line on s3 with 200$ mail in rebate, which I think I'll never get and I should get that line cancelled.

Any solution to getting the mail in rebate money?
