so my family and i just switched to tmobile after about 3 years with att. al is good.. except im going to italy in a week and called to have my phones unlocked to use while im there. so the request was submitted..i got an email last night stating it was done and in 72 hours to plug my phones into itunes and they will be unlocked..good to go. except not... then this morning i got another email stating the imei was "unknown" in apples database for all 4 lines. even though the first 4 emails said it was finished. so i looked into the email a bit more wheni was done work and noticed something.. when i called into the customer care department to push these unlocks through, the rep never even asked for my IMEI's. i was assuming they had them on file because i bought them from a tmobile retail store the day they were released..so anyway i noticed that in the emails for all 4 phones i got saying the phones were unlocked in 72 hours that the very last number for all 4 phones IMEI's were wrong. all 4 phones had the IMEI's ending in a zero when all 4 of the phones IMEI's all end in a different number. other then this one number being wrong the rest of all 4 IMEIs are correct. so heres my issue. i resubmitted a new request, but im worried it will be denied because the IMEI's that tmobile has on file for each phone is one digit off so im worried they will tell me the phones are not their phones or something stupid. because clearly the IMEIs that were submitted to apple for my unlock codes were "unknown IMEI's" are unknown because they are incorrect.. how do i go about them being on ther same page here ? ive already had to submit this request 3 times for other issues that were take care of. and they clearly are good to go because i received an email stating they were unlocked until they found out the wrong IMEI. how did this happen and what the heck can i do?i started this process a week ago and leave a week from today. PLEASE HELP !!
