I've recently switched over to T-Mobile from AT&T porting my iPhone 5. The issue I'm having is certain txt messages are not received on my phone. I can get TXT's from other carriers and other short txt services such as my bank and google however I can not get any from Apple. Apple sends me verification codes via TXT to access their services however they never go through since switching to T-Mobile. They will go to my other phones on my T-Mobile account but not my iPhone. My iPhone has been reset a dozen times, network settings have been reset, SIM card replaced, SIM card moved to another phone with no success. I've spoken to Apple and a few free txt'ing services who also can not get a txt to me and they all agree the issue is T-Mobile. I have heard that there is no blocks or restrictions on my account from support. Clearly there is an issue on T-Mobile's side if 2 of the phones can receive these messages but not the 3rd. There is no issue on the phone's side as this was not a problem a week ago when it was on AT&T's network.
I need some real help here, If I can't get this resolved I'm going to have to find a new carrier and I don't want to do that. But I can't except anymore finger pointing. Clearly there is some networking issues that need to be investigated, just hope someone at T-Mobile is up for the task.
