Currently I am on a family plan with my brother. We are both now engaged and would like to get onto separate plans with our fiancees. We are still under contract until November, but my fiancee has a necessity for a smartphone immediately for her work. Is it possible for my brother's fiancee to take my place on his current family plan without incurring a cancellation fee?
Otherwise, if I were to simply give her my sim card, would she be able to change the number to hers while also preserving mine to use on a new plan?
