I just made the switch to T-Mobile and am anxious to get tethering up and running. I have a Nexus 10 that I would like to tether to my Nexus 4. I can make the connection, no problem, but download speeds are terrible. This is on both G4 or H+ networks. I don't have the best download speed in my apartment (2-3Mbs). But if I tether my laptop to the N4, I get that. With the tablet it's <1Mb (the same results in areas that are 10+Mbs). Uploads are untouched, with G4 being about 5x faster, as is the case with the N4.
What's causing the discrepancy between the laptop and tablet? Seems as if it's device related. Is there a setting somewhere I should check? I have two APNs on the N4 -- fast.t-mobile.com for G4 and epc.tmobile.com for H+ (to avoid the capping that happens when fast.t-mobile.com is used with H/H+).
