Since early summer the 4g download rates in my home town area of Hagerstown Maryland seemed to have dropped off significantly. We don't seem to be able to get more than 300 kbps anywhere in town anymore. We are experiencing this all over town even in locations where the TMO coverage map shows that the coverage should be at its best and even whe our phones are showing full bars and 4g. I know it’s not my phone because every day at my work location in the Ashburn Virginia area I consistently see download rates of between 8 and 10 mbps. I know its not just me because my daughter with her Galaxy S2 has the same issue. Everyone at the TMO store I have asked about this seem not even to understand what HSPA is capable of and they just keep saying there reps (who ever they are) say everything is just fine. So truthfully what should we expect from TMO 4g service in the 21742 area? Are there any towers near the 21742 service area providing HSPDA rates? Where are the closest towers supporting HSPA+ 21 or better yet HSPA+ 42 service? I know TMO is going through an LTE build out but what's the plan for my home area to support HSPDA? Its just embarrassing that my friends pull out there Verizon phones and consistently get 30mbps download speeds and we can't even get 1 mbps. I have been with TMO for 6 years but I am ready to flip. I would really appreciate some honest answers. Thanks....
