Block messages or spam from a number

We're sorry, but this feature is not supported on this device. You cannot block text or picture (SMS or MMS) messages or spam from a number.

 

 

Unblock messages from a number

We're sorry, but this feature is not supported on this device because you cannot block messages from a number. Therefore, you cannot unblock messages from a number.

Manage messages

Add SMS service center number

You cannot add or change the SMS service center number. However, to view the service center number, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Messagingmessaging.pngicon.
  2. Tap the MenuMenu Key.pngkey.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Text message.
  5. View the Service center address.

 

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

To delete picture messages (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Messagingmessaging.pngicon.
  2. Select the message thread that contains the picture message.
  3. Touch and hold the picture message you want to delete.
  4. Tap the MenuMenu Key.pngkey at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap Delete.
  6. Select either individual messages to delete or check all the boxes to delete the entire thread.
  7. Tap Yes to confirm.

 

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

To delete text messages (SMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Messagingmessaging.pngicon.
  2. Select the message thread that contains the text message.
  3. Touch and hold the text message you want to delete.
  4. Tap the MenuMenu Key.pngkey at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap Delete.
  6. Select either individual messages to delete or check all the boxes to delete the entire thread.
  7. Tap Yes to confirm.

 

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

To save a picture you received as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Messagingmessaging.pngicon.
  2. Select the message thread that contains the picture message.
  3. Touch and hold the picture.
  4. Tap Save attachment.
  5. If necessary, select the location to save to.
  6. Tap OK.

Send messages

Send a group text message (SMS)

To write and send text messages (SMS) to a group, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Contactscontacts icon.pngicon.
  2. Tap the Groups tab.
  3. Select the group you want to send an MMS to.
  4. Tap the MenuMenu Key.pngkey.
  5. Tap Send message.
  6. Select members to add as recipients.
    Note: If desired, tap Select all.
  7. Tap Done.
  8. Enter the message text for your SMS.
  9. When finished, tap Send.

 

 

Send a new picture or video in a message (MMS)

To take a new picture or video and send it as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Messagingmessaging.pngicon.
  2. Tap the ComposeCompose icon.pngicon.
  3. At 'To,' enter the recipient's phone number.
    Note: To select from a saved contact, tap the Contact icon.
  4. Tap the Enter message field.
  5. Enter the text for your MMS.
  6. Tap Attach.
  7. Choose one of the following options:
    • Use a new picture
      1. Tap Take photo.
      2. Frame the subject.
      3. Tap the Camera button.
      4. Tap OK.
    • Use a new video
      • Tap Record video.
      • Frame the subject.
      • Tap the red Record icon to begin recording.
      • Tap the blue Stop icon to end recording.
        Note: You can also tap the blue Pause icon to pause the recording.
      • Tap OK.
  8. When finished, tap Send.

 

 

Send a saved picture or video in a message (MMS)

To send pictures or videos you have saved on your device as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Messagingmessaging.pngicon.
  2. Tap the ComposeCompose icon.pngicon.
  3. At 'To,' enter the recipient's phone number.
    Note: To select from a saved contact, tap the Contact icon.
  4. Tap the Enter message field.
  5. Enter the text for your MMS.
  6. Tap Attach.
  7. Select one of the following options:
    • Image
    • Video
  8. Navigate to and select the file you want to attach.
  9. Tap OK.
  10. When finished, tap Send.
