LG Mytouch, no GPS and no Facebook

I've had the LG Mytouch E-739 since July 2012.  This is my 2nd device, my 3rd SIM card, and my 2nd Master Rest, all on the second device.

In addition to all of the other annoying problems and issues with this phone (not being to make phone calls b/c phone just "doesn't want to", not being to send/receive text messages, dropped calls, Battery life is awful (just recently), and problems with apps), I've spent about 3-4 hours on the phone with TMo tech support this week, regarding Facebook and GPS.

1- My GPS has NEVER worked with this phone.  Both Google Navigation and the TeleNav Basic.  I can sometimes get a list of directions with both of these apps, but have NEVER gotten the actual navigation to work.  Both app's are always just looking for GPS signal (and yes, my GPS is turned on, on the phone, through the phone settings).

2- Facebook stopped working the night of Tues 1/15/2013.  Have been able to sign on 2x on the FB version that came pre-installed (I uninstalled the updates), but everytime I switch to another app and then try to go back to FB there is no FB connection.  I have powered off my phone about 30X this week alone.  So, I cannot access FB via the pre-installed version or the updated version.  TMo told me that I have to contact the Android Facebook developers, but I am having issues figuring out how to do that .  Any help with how to contact FB Android app people?  I don't even know if that is right answer...I feel TMo should fix this.

Anyway, I am sooooo overly frustrated right now.  TMo's advice was to factory reset the phone to fix the GPS problem.  I explained to TMo tech support that the phone was factory reset a few months ago, b/c I asked a rep at a TMo store about the GPS problem.  They gave me a new SIM card, thinking that might fix it.  I left the store and could not send or receive texts.  So, I went to another store, and the store manager there gave me yet another new SIM card, and factory reset the phone (I didn't even have a chance to backup anything, b/c he just did it).  This fixed the text message issue, but not the GPS.   Anyway, TMo tech support still told me that this is what I should do today.  Also, that I should run the phone for 48 hours without downloading any new apps, and this should fix the GPS signal problem.  I don't really know what running the phone for 48 hours would actually do, and I plan on getting reimbursed for 48 hours without having full use of my data plan.

Anyway, I just did the master reset, and low and behold, still no GPS signal at all....I let both Google Navigation and TeleNav run for 20 mins, and still no GPS.  Again, I don't think 48 hours will change any of this either.  Oh ya, I'm also not supposed to have Pandora on the phone (even though I use it maybe once a month), b/c it "reacts funny with other apps."  TMo tech support refused to admit that any of these issues are phone issues, and that they are all app issues.  Well if this phone can't run apps that are pre-installed on the phone, then it is a phone issue!

I am so disappointed with TMo for selling this phone, and even more upset that they are backing up the quality of this phone.  I've been with TMo for 7 years, have 3 lines, and am going to be adding a 4th line in the next month or so.  This lack of customer care and support that I am getting with this phone is really making re-think my whole account, and possibly try to get out of the contract.

Sorry for the length of this, but needed to vent, and see if any other LG Mytouch user's are experiencing the same thing.
