G2 Full Charge - Random Shut Down- Turns back on at 1% - 30% battery

So I've had my G2 for quite a while now. I treat it well. I've -never- dropped it, it's never gotten wet, it's never been left in a place like a car where it will get very hot. Very recently (within the last week) my phone has been doing something very strange. I will have a full charge on the battery and after only 5 to 10 minutes of use the phone will power off. No warning, just straight to a blank screen. I turn the phone back on (no need to take the battery out, it turns on with just a push of the power button) and the battery indication will have a red X and it will say I have 1% battery left. It will then power off again as soon as I attempt to do -anything-. I will then power the phone back on, again without removing the battery, and it will tell me I have anywhere from 3% to 30% battery life on the phone. Now if I remove the battery it will tell me I have anywhere from 50% to full battery, depending on how it feels.

Now... No matter what happens with any of these resets, whether my phone claims I have full, 50%, 30%, 23%, 17%, 13%, 12%, 7%, 4%, 2%, or 1% battery life I will only have a MAXIMUM of FIVE minutes of use on the phone before it will automatically power down again and I have to start the process all over. If I plug the phone into the charger it will act as if it is charging from wherever it claims the battery life is, yet if I take the battery out and don't turn the phone back on until it is plugged in the phone will tell me it has a full charge.

What I have done to try and resolve this issue:

I have bought a new SD card, as I have read in another thread that the SD card being corrupt can cause this issue.

I have tried without having any SD card inside the phone as well, the problem persists. It is not an SD card issue

I have bought two... count them TWO new batteries, giving me a total of THREE batteries with the issue happening with each of them. It is not a battery issue.

I have uninstalled every app I am able to uninstall.

I have done a factory reset.

I have done a factory reset and then uninstalled every application I am able to that came pre-installed on the phone. It is not a software issue

What I have not done:

I have not rooted this phone.

I have not installed "mods" on this phone.

I have not dropped this phone into liquid.

I have not dropped this phone onto a hard, or any surface.

I have seen SEVERAL articles that mention the exact same, or similar problems with this device. A lot date back to last year during the fiasco with the Maps problem, those are the "similar" problems. Some only date back within the last 2 weeks to a month, these ones are the "exact same" issues. None of these issues have been resolved, as far as I can see, for any of the people making the complaints. I've seen people on certain forums who have tried rooting their G2 and still having the problem. I've seen people on these very boards asking for help and not getting responses or being given faulty information.

Please, get back to me, and all the people who are having the same problem as me, as soon as possible. I do not care if all you have to say is "We are aware of the issue and are currently working to fix it." As long as you aknowledge that the issue exists. There is obviously some type of bug in the phones firmware right now, here is your alert to the fact. Please help us.
