I just bought a S5 and upgraded the OS to lollipop and the phone is laggy and heats up as well. Should I try going back to kitkat 4.4.2?

New My T-Mobile App Seems to be the Old
I have version 4.6.4.6 installed on LG G4 H811. Play Store prompted me to update. I did, but still old version remains. I had seen a few 5.x versions in the wild, but the Play Store shows the new all-magenta styling. The app page doesn't specify an actual version # or even state "varies by device." Not a huge issue considering a lot of folks are commenting in the ratings that the app will not connect to the account and instead refers to the mobile web version. I haven't had any issues other than the widget graphic seeming to be a bit garbled. I knew there was an update rumored due to the change with Binge On, where you have faster access to an on/off "switch" and figured there might be other changes and improvements to the app itself. Like I said, not a big deal, but it is strange that the app page on GPStore looks new and the version didn't change either during the update.
Anyone with some insight?

Notification panel quick setting buttons always revert to default after a while
6.0.1
I have tried this several times. Customize the button orders but later I will find it's back to default again. Initially I thought it's just after restart. It turns out that it will revert after a while (half hour or so), whether I reboot or now.
Any way to make it stick?
There are some mentioning about System UI Tuner. However, it does not appear to be available on this device.

When is the Lumia 640 getting the Windows 10 update from T-Mobile? AT&T has already rolled out their Lumia 640 Win 10 Update. And before anyone says I can sign up for the "Windows Insiders" Program, I know. I just want hear from T-Mobile, or anyone who knows, when the official update is happening?

Lost TMobile Life Contacts
I have lost all Mobile Life contacts when I reset my phone. I know that TMobile has stopped its MobileLife for a while, so I had merged those contacts with my Google contacts but I see that all the phone nos are lost only email is there. Is there any way I can recover some of my Mobile Life Contacts? Would really appreciate it!! Thank you.

Galaxy S6
Hello, I will be activating service with Tmobile in a couple weeks. We are coming from Sprint and have a galaxy S6 and Note 5. The phones are unlocked, and I tested the s6 at a T-Mobile retail store. The service worked, but it stayed on 3G, but was rather fast. 8 down and 2 to 3 mb up. Does anyone know the proper APN settings I will need to add once we activate our SIM cards? I do know that the Sprint s6 will work on bands 4 and 12, but not 2. Also, for updates will they simply come OTA once we are on T-Mobile? Thanks, Rob

"Quick setting buttons" in notification area get reset after phone restart
Anyone else experiencing this problem? I rearrange my buttons in the pull down notification area but after a restart, the buttons go back to the way they were. I've tried rearranging them several times now but after a phone restart (or complete power down, then power on), they always revert to their default setting. This only started happening after the Marshmallow update, and it's extremely annoying.
And yes, I've done a factory reset and wipe after installing Marshmallow.

I'm currently abroad, got the text message about free international 2G unlimited data included with my plan, but after turning on the data, I get text messages about $50, $100, $200, and $500 charges. Is there really a charge?

I'm really confused about my situation. So it all started with international roaming. Usually whenever I got to a country, I get a text message about free unlimited international 2G data, and the data works instantly without a problem.
I just arrived in Macau, and I received the same text message. But this time, the data didn't work. I turned the phone off, took out the sim, everything, the data wouldn't go back on.
I followed one of T-Mobile's online tutorial and it said to run #766# to turn on roaming, and so I did. I got prompted with a message that says something along the lines of, "International roaming enabled, countries not included will incur a $15/MB charge."
So of course, I go online and check to make sure Macau was in the Simple Choice Plan supposed countries list, and it was. So I thought I was all good, or was I?
After turning on the data, I ran a speedtest, and instantly received a text message about a $50 charge. A few seconds later, I received a text message about a $100 charge. Then a few minutes later, I got another text message about a $200 charge. Then another few minutes later, I get another text message about a $500 charge. I wasn't even using my data at all!
Obviously im scared of being charged $500 for something that I was told was FREE. And so i contacted T-Mobile. I'm not the account holder, therefore not able to retrieve the SSN of the account holder because he's in the states and I'm currently not.
I do appreciate T-Mobile and their security, but I don't understand why telling me if I received a charge or not is a huge security risk. The funny thing is, it's not even my fault for these text messages. I got a text message saying that I have FREE UNLIMITED INTERNATIONAL DATA AT 2G SPEEDS, and that the country I'm in (Macau) was listed in their included countries as well, so how exactly was i supposed to know?
If anybody else had encountered this issue before, could you please tell me if you actually got charged $500? I'm really scared about this so please help me out.

Can the Kyocera Rally receive MMS?
This phone can send pictures and audio via MMS, but hasn't been able to receive any of the pictures or MIDI files that I've tried to send to it. I have tried the following scenarios: MMS from Verizon feature phone, MMS from T-Mobile iPhone, MMS from Google Hangouts, Email to MMS bridge using tmomail.net.
The device never received any of these MMS messages, nor did it receive a message notifying that it had received an unsupported message like some phones do.
The user guide states that the phone can't receive video messages, but nothing about receiving other MMS messages. So.. does this phone support receiving MMS?

How do you provide input to what gets listed under BingeOn?
I am new to this forum. I have read some of the postings. And I admit I still need to learn more about this site.
I came here, because T-mobile just announced a free use for "Suicide Squad" as part of the Binge-on program.
I have just setup a T-Mobile hot-spot as my home internet service. There are a few things
in this service that I would like to recommend as being included in the "binge-On" category.
1. All data transmission for this site. I am very conservative/concerned about data usage of
my hot-spot data. Why must I consume my data quota on finding out about T-Mobile,
or getting help on a problem.
2. I regularly get security updates and OS patches. None of this provide me any direct benefit.
I realize they are part of the plumbing. Without them I could not safely use the T-Mobile's hot-spot
service. How about adding functions to the Binge-On program for such maintenance, i.e., Google, Apple,
Samsung, Ubuntu, Microsoft, etc., but only their package update/maintenance processes.

When when when security UPDATES
For the love of God when in the HECK are we the note 4 users ever going to get our monthly security updates I'm still on November's security update do we pretty much have to wait to get the new OS to get our security updates every other phone and service provider are pushing the SECURITY UPDATES left and right but not TMOBILE. ..wake up tmobile

Wrong WEAs
I keep getting Wireless Emergency Alerts from my CellSpot that are off by at least 1000 miles.
Emergency alert: Severe
Dust Storm Warning in this area til 7:00 PM MST. Avoid travel. Check local media. - NWS
I'm California's Silicon Valley and these alerts are probably for Arizona. I power cycled my CellSpot but I keep getting them. The GPS antenna is attached and the status is green. I've turned off emergency alerts on my phone so I can get some sleep, but that doesn't seem like a good long-term solution.

Lumia 950 and wi-fi calling

I have checked the official specifications of the Lumia 950 phone on the Microsoft Store site (
http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Microsoft-Lumia-950--Unlocked/productID.326602600 ). It seems the phone supports all the bands T-Mobile uses.
The specifications also mention "Wi-Fi call" but do not give additional details. Will Wi-Fi calling work if an unlocked Lumia 950 is used on T-Mobile network? If so, is any particular configuration needed?
