Battery life

Battery saving mode

To turn on, turn off, or use battery life saving features on the device, follow these steps:

1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Scroll to and tap Power.
4. Perform one of the following actions:
   • To turn on Power saver mode, tap the Power saver switch.
   • To turn on Sleep mode, tap the Sleep mode switch.

Battery saving mode settings

To change settings for the battery life saving feature, follow these steps:

1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Scroll to and tap Power.
4. Tap Power saver.
5. Select or clear the check boxes for the following options:
   • CPU power
   • Display
   • Vibration
   • Data connection

Tips to save battery life

To save and extend battery life, follow these steps:

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Power.
4. Touch Usage.
