Call "drops" with full service

$

Long time T-Mobile customer and have always had great and reliable service. Recently my iPhone XS has had a troubling issue where during a call the voice/sound will drop for 5-10 seconds of the call and then return. It is almost as if the person on the other end hit the mute button and it turned back on. I end up missing that part of the persons conversation but I also cannot speak to them to let them know that I cant hear them either. I still have strong signal and the call never fails, I just lose part of it.

This has happened almost daily in every situation I have used the phone (in my hand, connected to Airpods, connected to 2 different car Bluetooths) and in areas around town (even on WiFi which leads me to believe that it could possibly be hardware issue?). No specific phone number or location is any different and it drops on me randomly. I have tried factory reset, updates, toggling LTE, etc but nothing has worked for me. Has anyone had this issue or know of a fix?

wifi calling button missing on Galaxy J7 running android 9

So, I wanted to turn on the Wifi calling on my Galaxy J7.  It was there before the most recent update but now, it's nowhere to be found!  Tried setting/connections etc.  Tried also looking in the phone app settings but the option to turn on the Wifi calling is just missing.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I'm not a prepaid customer and I had the option before the big upgrade to android 9 so I certainly can't explain this.  Is there anywhere else they may have hidden this button?  Thanks

Can I add two different payment methods for an account? Can I pay my line with one card and the rest with another card? Or do I have to pay using one card only?

iPhone xs SMS message fail to send. "Number not Available"

I activated my new iPhone 11 yesterday and ported the number fro ATT (over 24 hours ago).  I am unable to send SMS text messages.  When I send one, I receive the message "number not available. which number would you like to send the message with". The options I get say "Primary" or "Cancel".  If I select "primary" and send the text, the text fails to send (though there is one recipient who did receive it but 3 others who do not).  I am able to make calls and send iMessages with the phone.  Please help!

I live in Japan about 6 months of the year and ......

I purchased a Galaxy 8+ through T-Mobile and have used it with great success in Japan for the past two years. I spend 2 to 3 months at a time in Japan usually twice a year.

This morning, for the first time, I received a message from T-Mobile stating that "The majority of the recent T-Mobile usage on line (my phone number) has been roaming internationally. Per our terms and condition roaming benefits are not intended for extensive use abroad. You can use WIFI to reduce your international usage...."

First off let me state that I do use WIFI whenever it is available. However, I live in a temple for about 8 hours a day where it is not available and when there I seldom use the device anyway.

I do not want to set myself up with a huge phone bill when I get back to the States and am thinking about getting a SIM card for Japan. Since I have permanent residency in Japan, I should not find it difficult to get a SIM card. NOTE: there are sim cards for tourists as well but I think that I may want to get a more "permanent" one....maybe.

I have two questions:

1. I will be in Japan for another month and a half this time. What potential "penalties" am I facing if I continue to use my phone for that period?

2. If a purchase a SIM card and install it, do I lose my T-Mobile phone number access, do I lose the ability to use the installed apps etc in the same manner that I am now What are the drawbacks of installing a SIM?

I have Galaxy Note 4 here in Japan that I could install a SIM card on, but I don't really want to have to begin an additional service for that when I already have what is presently a very nice setup thanks to T-Mobile!.......which apparently they don't want to continue to provide beyond a certain period of time or data or whatever....

Any feedback would be great!

Thanks

Alcatel Go Flip 3 Can't Sync With Google Account

Hi,

I just started using the Altcatel Go Flip3 and am having issues connecting to my google account from the KaiOS. I cannot import contacts, setup gmail sync, or sync my google calendar. Each time I enter my google log-in for these services, I get an error saying "this app has not been verified yet by google in order to use Google Sign In". This phone is designed to sync with google for contacts, gmail, and calendar but it appears there are some software issues with the current version of KaiOS. Does anyone have any clue why this wouldn't be working? Thanks, Eric.

The phone does not ring when someone calls my Digits line. My primary line works just fine. I've already tried logging in and out of the app and restarting my phone. These have fixed the issue in the past but not this time. Any other ideas?

Wi-Fi calling not working properly

When I connect to my Wi-Fi network the Wi-Fi calling icon is lit up. However when I make a call it becomes greyed out and I'm unable to make a call or the call is very choppy because of poor cell signal. It does not happen all the time but it does seem to happen more when I have very little or no cell signal. Any thoughts on what causes this and or how to fix it? Below is a link to the screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Thanks!

Hello to who ever reads this.

I have a Samsung SGH-T139 flip-phone with the Pay-as-you-go plan. In the past, I was able to send and receive picture messages.  Now, when I try to send, a picture message, I will get an unable to send message after about 10 minutes.  When someone tries to send a picture message, I get notified that I have an incoming message, but the picture will not download.  Any ideas as to what is wrong. Any help is appreciated.

Samsung BOGO Offer

Hi Friends,

I have recently bought two Samsung Note 10 plus devices on the Costco BOGO offer by adding a new line (only one). I am planning to gift one of the phones to my friend who might require it to be unlocked. Currently I have not opened the device to activate it. So I wanted to know if I need to have the device running on any existing TMobile line for 40 days to unlock the device or is the second device already unlocked? I have paid in full for both the devices.

Please advise.

Switched from Verizon to TMobile ... still having text message issues on iPhone 7

Just ported my number from Verizon to TMobile a few days ago ... I have an iPhone 7 ... since then, I've had a few glitches with text messaging, some have resolved but others have not. Anytime I send a text to an Android phone, I get the 'message not delivered' alert, even though the message was actually received on the other end. Also, when I receive attachments (photos, specifically) from an Android phone, it delivers to my phone in a group text thread that includes just me and the sender. Anyone else have these issues and, if so, know of any fixes?? Thanks!

T-Mobile eSIM is an app that lets Apple iPhones with dual SIM support activate new T-Mobile prepaid service.

No trekking to a store or juggling two different physical SIM cards – adding a line is done from the app, wherever you are.

About the app

The eSIM app was built for travelers coming to the U.S., existing T-Mobile customers who want a secondary prepaid line, and anyone who wants to take the Un-carrier out for a test drive to try out America’s fastest 4G LTE network.

  • The app can only activate a T-Mobile prepaid line.
  • For postpaid accounts, check out T-Mobile eSIM.
  • Only available for Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro Max running iOS 12.1.1 or later.

  • The app requires:
    • You have a data connection, through either Wi-Fi or Cellular.
    • You either purchased the iPhone from T-Mobile, or else you must first SIM unlock it. (Contact the original provider if you need help.)
  • There are no fees to activate an iPhone with an eSIM.
  • To activate your iPhone eSIM on another wireless provider or manage eSIM settings, see eSIM settings: Apple iPhone on iOS 13.

Re-download eSIM after replacing device or master reset

Sometimes, you may need to replace the eSIM you received through the app.

  • You accidentally deleted your eSIM.
  • You upgraded your phone, and want to transfer your eSIM line of service to your new phone.
  • You lost connection when downloading your eSIM, and it didn't get installed properly on your device.

To start, you'll need to call us at 1-877-778-2106 to get a QR code. Make sure you have:

  • Your Prepaid eSIM phone number or your OrderID. Your OrderID will display if you encounter an error screen in the T-Mobile eSIM App.
  • Your account PIN code, which you set up to complete your order in the T-Mobile eSIM App.

Not able to answer T-mobile digits line using bluetooth headset & answer button on headset

$

I have T-mobile digits on my Samsung Note phone. When using my Bluetooth headset, if I get an incoming call on my T-mobile cell number, I can just push answer button on my Bluetooth headset and the call goes to the headset.  I don't have to touch my cell phone.  The same applies when the phone is connected to my car Bluetooth, I just push the car bluetooth answer button and I'm connected.

However, if the incoming call is to my T-mobile digits number (formally my land line), my Bluetooth headset notifies me that a call in conning in.  However, if I push the answer button on my Bluetooth headset, it does NOT answer the call.  The headset (BOSE frame) notifies me the call has been terminated,  but it is actually still ringing on my T-mobile digits app.  If I then go to the T-mobile digits app (which as now popped up) and tap the answer icon, the call get connected directly to the headset and works fine.

Anybody else have his problem.  I would like Digits and the headset to work the same way as my cell number and headset does, that is, just touch the headset answer button and then connect.  The Digits apps works on the headset, but the I need to go to the cell phone app to answer the call.

I've tried this on two different Bluetooth devices and  the Bluetooth in my car.  The digits line can only be answered using the answer button on the app, and not the answer button on Bluetooth device.

The guys at the T-mobile store tired it and didn't have any solution, neither did the T-mobile digits support line.

thanks

Hi I was wondering if the A20 has 3xCA or not cuz there has been a couple of sources that state that it might have 3x CA but it's has been limited by firmware in other words Samsung or T mobile pretty much capped the true potencial of the phone and I was wondering why it doesn't make sense other than maybe costs tbh and still there is quite a few devices with more than 3xCA now so they don't got any excuse of costs or anything

Phone "freezes" when charging

When charging, my Samsung Galaxy S4 "freezes".  The time stops advancing, the percentage of battery life does not update, and the phone will not respond at all until I restart it.  This just started happening within the past month, and I have not installed any new apps in that time.  Any ideas on what is wrong?

I can't seem to find anything online to answer the question of when Samsung Note 9 will receive Android 10.  I see that T-Mobile is already working in Android 10 for Note 10, but I have yet to find ANYTHING about when Note 9 will get Android 10 (which it will get, I just want to know - even roughly - when that will be).
