I am charged more than $16000 for using 1.6GB data with Simple Choice plan for hotspot device in Canada

I signed on the $10 for 2GB T-mobile simple choice plan before started vacation in Canada. During about 20 days period I used about 1.6GB data flow. Now I received a bill with amount more $16000. I called the T-Mobile support and was told that it was roaming charging, and it is legit charge.

I told multiple custom reps that I signed on their SIMPLE CHOICE plan, it covers north American include Mexican and Canada, but custom rep insist it is legit charge and there nothing they can do.

I asked to speak with manager during the last call, the customer rep put me on hold for a while and came back saying that they will escalate this case to Custom Complaining department, or something like. But it will took 9 days before they will call me back.

Did anyone experienced this kind of charge?

I have bought my phone specifically for my upcoming trip in NYC t mobile store  I was assured that the phone was compatible with Europe  Surprise surprise I'm stuck with 2G. After reaching out to the t mobile a team I found out that this specific model contrary to what I was told is not really compatible with the European frequency. By the way it took them 9 hours to figure it out. I think that this is a a very poor business practice. Correct information should be provided. Now lm stuck with barely functioning phone and financial loss

iPhone BOGO trade-in issue with order

I placed my order over the phone for 2 iPhones about 2 weeks ago. I mentioned the iPhone promo when ordering, but for some reason the trade-in was not arranged at the time of the order. Ive been trying to arrange trade in, i keep getting transferred between departments, the sales department says the care team should have no issues adding it to the order, the care department says they cant do it. The chat reps in the app say no problem, but a care rep needs to do it. I asked to be transfered to a supervisor since i've been on the phone for like 2 hours now, and he transferred me to retentions. Im not going to give up. Any advice?

If my child has access to Wi-Fi, does that disable the family allowance restrictions?  I see that my daughter was able to send and receive texts after the 11 PM cut off while at a sleepover party

CellSpot not working!

I have a brand new 4GLTE CellSpot and its not working.  The power light is flashing green and the internet light is flashing orange.  I have plugged the yellow Ethernet cord into the yellow WAN port and it is plugged into my Ethernet modem.  I have contacted my ISP and they have opened up UDP ports 123, 500 and 4500 and they have placed the CellSpot into the DMZ.  What am i doing wrong?

Hi All,

T-Mobile Cell Spot is not working.

I have comcast internet with my own motorola modem and a linksys router. I tried connecting to both (one at a time) and the result is same.

 

The Power (1st) light is a blinking green and the (2nd) internet light is a blinking orange.

I called the T-mobile support and they said they can't do much as the device is supposed to be plug and play.

I called the comcast and they are not blocking any ports. I checked the modem configuration also and no ports are blocked.

 

Can anybody give me some pointers please? I really appreciate

Hello! I have an iPhone X with a T-Mobile postpaid plan, so the handset is funded. My question is the following ... I will stay 2 months in Brazil, I would like to know if my unlimited internet from T-mobile will work perfectly during my stay in Brazil, remembering that the plan is not prepaid, the has a contract

I'm not in the US right now. Can I unlock my phone so I can use it with a local SIM, or do I have to wait until I get back to unlock my phone? I know my phone uses GSM, so if I'm able to unlock it I can use it.

Insurance

Livid with T-Mobile.  iPhone 6S was stolen on 2-4-18.  I knew I had Applecare, but did not know I had insurance with it.  I purchased a new phone replacement from the local T-Mobile store, explained to them about my phone being stolen, and not once did the tell me I had insurance on the old phone.  They were happy to sell me a new phone at full price.  I learned today I have insurance ($15 per month) but it is past the 90 days to file a claim.  Why did T-Mobile not tell me about the insurance when I was in their store buying a replacement phone?  Why did the T-Mobile 1-800 number not tell me when we called them?  My fault, but is there anything that can be done?

4G LTE Signal Booster Duo Learn about the T-Mobile 4G LTE Signal Booster Duo availablity?

I’ve spoken to customer care in over the phone and through messaging about ordering this booster as the current area I live in has coverage issues. I currently have a booster which does it best, but hasn’t been doing well for the past 3 weeks since upgrading to the iPhone X. The new signal boosters boasts having the ability to pick up 700 band and I think it’ll be perfect for me, but no one has been able to see it in their systems to order, despite showing that the device became available on 11/14/2017. Is there anyone who has seen a success with ordering this?

Liberia - Why No Data?

I just traveled to Liberia for three days and have T Mobile ONE and the website promises voice AND unlimited data at 2G speeds.  I get there and there is only one phone provider to connect to and I couldn’t get data.  I call T Mobile and learn they have no agreement with the provider to allow T Mobile users in Liberia to get data!

 

So why the false advertising on the web site saying I’d have data in Liberia?  I never have any problems when I travel to Europe.  Only to Africa.  Why is that?

How do I acquire a large SIM card?

I have some older phones my kids would like to use – namely a Moto Razr and Alcatel slider. But they do not work with the 3-in-1 sim cards, apparently. I don't think T-Mobile offers the large sim cards any longer.

 

Any suggestions on how to get the larger SIM cards – that are not expired?

NO Network Coverage?

I'm an old man with an old Nokia 2720 Legacy Pay-as-you-go plan.  I live in San Diego, and have used this phone to make and receive calls within the USA for many years.  A week ago, we departed on a road trip from SAN to ND.  When we were about 100 miles away from home, our phone will not work ("no network coverage").  Using my laptop and Internet, I contacted T-Mobile Customer Care.  The person there told me to CALL Customer Support (right after I explained that my phone does not have network coverage).  So...here I am in North Dakota with no phone.  HELP?!!


LTE Band 3?

I was in Robinson, PA near the Pittsburgh airport and I happened to check what LTE band I was connected to because I heard T-Mobile had expanded coverage of mid and low frequency in and around Pittsburgh. When I checked which band I was connected to it showed I was connected to LTE band 3 1800 mhz. I cannot find any info on T-Mobile having this band and I am wondering if I was roaming which seems strange.

Need help or advice or I will try to leave tmobile.

So I had a family plan with my now ex boyfriend. We used to split the bill. We broke up and he won’t give me his phone, so I turned his line off. Now I’m left with a  $238 phone bill that’s just too much for me to handle alone. I did what I could do to lower the payments, not much has helped. I would rather just cancel my account with tmobile and get a prepaid phone! But from what I’m understanding is that I would have to pay for my devices if I leave. So either way I’m stuck owing lots of money I guess?? Is there any advice someone could give me?? No smarta** remarks. I know I shouldn’t have gotten a family plan with my bf....now I’m stuck suffering.

Digits keeps exiting and asking me to log back in

This happens with the web client or the actual osx client. Log in, things are fine and then maybe a minute or two later i'm logged out and returned to the login screen. Not terribly useful to say the least and I actually need to use that app as I left my phone at home. How can I fix this now?

How can I contact the Fraud Department?

Does anyone have an unpublished way to contact the Fraud Department?

 

This whole setup at T-Mobile is pathetic. This internal department exists that can deactivate an account on a whim, and no one can contact them. Customer Care can't get a hold of them; the number they used to have was deactivated. The store support teams can't contact them; the best they can do is open a case and wait to hear back.

 

How is this acceptable when T-Mobile sells itself as the friendly, no BS carrier? I'm paid up on my charges (it's a brand new account), but my account was marked fraudulent in the middle of a porting process. You deactivated not only my T-Mobile services, but also terminated my old carrier's plan due to the port. I also have no guarantee as of now that I'll be keeping my number.

 

Everyone I contact just quotes the standard "24 to 48 hours" response for fraud responses, but that's unacceptable.

 

If you don't know what I'm talking about, pray that you never travel frequently or try to make account changes while travelling. T-Mobile will make getting basic cellular service an absolute hell.

I switched to Big V. I've received a nastygram from Big T that I'd better pay my final bill. But I haven't received a final bill, and I am no longer able to sign in online or via the app.
