VOICE ASSISTANT?

I continually, accidentally activate voice assistant.  I would like to permanently disable it.  Is that possible?

Greetings! Hope someone can help me here.

 

I can't make /receive any call since ported the number but data and text are working fine. Before ported the number, there is no issue at all w/ the new number assigned to me by T-Mobile.

 

Each time I make call to any number, I get a male voice saying 'you are not able to make calls at this time...'.  The only number I am able to call successfully is T-mobile support number(8009378997).

 

I have contacted chat support, phone support, port number support quite a few of times, every time, they just did something, the call will be working for a couple of hours, then doesn't work again.

 

I have switched to other two different phones(iphone 6s and nextus 6) but get the same issue.

 

Before I call the support line again, just check if anyone had the same issue and how to solve it eventually.

Galaxy s9+ issues with Syncing

Hello, I've been dealing with issues since mid to late May.

 

I'll start by saying I've factory reset my phone multiple times (even got a new device because of the issue)

 

After the t-mobile update in May, my Blackberry Work (e-mail app) stopped syncing e-mails, I couldn't nor can I manually sync them either. I un-installed the app and got a new security token, same issue. For a day or so I though it was just my work e-mails not syncing till I realized also my Gmail widget had stopped syncing as did my Gmail app. A few other apps also were no longer syncing.

 

At this time I did your normal trouble shooting...

Wipe phone cache partision

Delete app cache and storage

uninstall applications

Factory reset phone

-----------------------------------

 

After all else failed I took it in to T-mobile filed a claim and got a new device. Received the device promptly the next day proceeded to set it up. VIOLA set it up and everything is back to normal. Few weeks pass and I get the message that T-mobile has an update to install yada... yada... yada... I choose install over night, wake up the next morning and...... BAM! like a smack in the face back to the same issue.

 

Now I have been going for another month + with the same issue (it's a major pain cause I am in IT I rotate on-call and because my e-mail doesn't sync I have to sit near my computer for 5 days pretty much)

 

Has anyone else experienced syncing issues or something similar and found a cause?

 

I've had most every galaxy since the S3 and have always loved them but geeze it may be time to ditch T-mobile and Samsung at this rate.

Delay receiving group text messages on iPhone 7+

I have been having trouble delay receiving (sometimes up to 12 hours and all the messages come in at once after the 12 hours) group text for a couple months.  This has been on going and I called Apple and T-Mobile for the last couple of months.  I changed out a new sim card.  My group text only includes 2 other people, one is an android phone on T-Mobile service and the other is an iPhone 7+ with Verizon service.  I restored my phone and still having the same issue.  I called T-Mobile and they keep creating trouble tickets and escalated to their engineers.  T-Mobile also did a purge on my account and still an issue.  Still they said they don't see anything wrong.  I contacted Apple and said it is on T-Mobile's end.  I have been a T-Mobile member for at least 12 years, I would hate to go to another provider.  But, what is the use of paying for a service that does not work.

Text messages are delayed sending and receiving

When I receive a text message, I often get it and it shows 5+ minutes old. Its even been in excess of a day - this when I have plenty of signal and can make voice calls and use data without issue. I use the standard stock Messaging app. I also have delays sending messages. It spins and spins and a reboot rarely helps.

 

I'm using a S5. I deleted all the messages, no change. It has been factory reset with no change. I used to have a Note 4 with the same issue.

 

My zip is 30005. I have been having this problem for over a year. I've ignored it mostly because I got told about service improvements in my area and promised a booster that never arrived.

 

But now the delays are causing me great pains because more and more websites are using SMS for 2-factor and a message that takes over 4 minutes to arrive DOES NOT WORK for 2-factor as the code expires before I receive the message. So I now need this figured out.

Store 132D assured me that my 2 Galaxy S9's from Verizon would be reimbursed after I switched.  Now I am told by the T-mobile team that the store was wrong.

 

What a great bait and switch tactic! 

 

I will be switching back to Verizon immediately, less than 24 hours, T-Mobile get your stores inline!

S7 Battery Drain With Oreo Update

Hello.  Recently updated my S7 to Oreo and am experiencing severe battery drain.  A full charge only lasts about 5 hours, which is a significant decrease since the upgrade.  I've seen a few threads online where suggesting this is a bug with Oreo, but have not found a solution.  Thoughts or suggestions to fix this?  Thank you!

Need Booster Duo+ - tech support doesn't have a clue

I am in an area that provides me with marginal coverage via Band 12.  I requested a Signal Booster that didn't help at all.  I discovered that it is a D32-24 which I have learned is the older version that doesn't work on Band 12.

 

In my investigation online I have found out that I need a Signal Booster Duo+ (not just a Duo) and the the model number should be D32-21266 and it should be a V2 unit.  I have called tech support (even level 2) and nobody has a clue about the different signal boosters.  They are sending a 'replacement unit' but I just discovered that it is a RS3 unit which I believe is a non-Band 12 unit.  I have tried two more time to find out what is on order but the tech support cannot tell me the model number or if there is such a model as D32-21266 or V2.

 

That said - my question is how does one reach someone at T-Mobile that is tech savy.  The people that I get, even Level 2, are obviously non-US people that cannot deal with anything out of the norm.


Customer Service payed to wrong account with my card details.

Hi Team,

 

I recharged my number ***-***-**** with around $47. Before I recharged I talked to Customer Service on phone. They took my debit card details and charged to another number. I dont know why they payed to another number instead of paying to my number which I did not ask them to do. Please cancel the payment made to that number immediately. I am in India now so I cannot access my US T-Mobile number.

 

 

I called back to Customer Service. They transferred to Payment Department. Payment department transferred to Customer Service. Customer Service again asked me to tell Payment Department to cancel Payment made. All this took more than 30 minutes. And again I called Bank of America to cancel this payment.. That took again 27 minutes. It is extremely frustrating customer service. The transaction made using my debit card is still not cancelled. Please cancel this payment immediately.

My iPhone 8 was stuck on red battery charging screen this morning. I tried to recharge the phone but nothing happens. Also reboot the device, the same screen appears again.

I signed on the $10 for 2GB T-mobile simple choice plan before started vacation in Canada. During about 20 days period I used about 1.6GB data flow. Now I received a bill with amount more $16000. I called the T-Mobile support and was told that it was roaming charging, and it is legit charge.

I told multiple custom reps that I signed on their SIMPLE CHOICE plan, it covers north American include Mexican and Canada, but custom rep insist it is legit charge and there nothing they can do.

I asked to speak with manager during the last call, the customer rep put me on hold for a while and came back saying that they will escalate this case to Custom Complaining department, or something like. But it will took 9 days before they will call me back.

Did anyone experienced this kind of charge?

Water in ubs port

The last three days I have been getting the water detected in USB port warning every time I try to charge my phone. I have been able to eventually charge but it takes multiple attempts. I have not been able to fully charge it. The highest charge I could was 97% with in two hours I was down to 78%.

I am evening getting the warning when I am not charging. My wife has not come into contact with water. I have used a hair dryer on low and have carefully blown over the ubs port and the USB cable making sure everything is dry.

This morning I factory reset hoping it was a software issue.

It didn't work

I don't know what else to do. I am something like a 100 miles from a tmobile store. I am in the heart of Sprint & At&t land.

After a few years CellSpot went offline how do I get it working?

Searching through these forums it seems that a lot of people had a problem getting wifi calling to work on a Pixel. This is a deal breaker for me, since I have bad coverage at home on cell signal.

 

Anybody know if this is different for the Pixel 2?

I’m currently traveling and purchase fbe 10 day 1gb roaming add on. How can I tell how much of my 1gb I’ve ised?

 

I also notice this option is no longer available for purchase (even though it was a few days ago). I’ll still be traveling after the 10 days expires and would purchase another. How can I do that?
