Can't make/receive call since ported the number

Greetings! Hope someone can help me here.

I can't make /receive any call since ported the number but data and text are working fine. Before ported the number, there is no issue at all w/ the new number assigned to me by T-Mobile.

Each time I make call to any number, I get a male voice saying 'you are not able to make calls at this time...'.  The only number I am able to call successfully is T-mobile support number(8009378997).

I have contacted chat support, phone support, port number support quite a few of times, every time, they just did something, the call will be working for a couple of hours, then doesn't work again.

I have switched to other two different phones(iphone 6s and nextus 6) but get the same issue.

Before I call the support line again, just check if anyone had the same issue and how to solve it eventually.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it

Hotspot unusable in Finland

My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with with Windows Surfbook gives me only 50-150K connection in Finland. Just loading Outlook takes half hour.

I have BIZ SC UNL TT+D which should give me good connection. The phone shows an "E" icon for Edge network connection.

T-Mobile tech support told me that the sped was all up to DNA, the Finnish telecom partner.

Doesn't T-Mobile have a service level agreement with DNA regarding the speed they supposed to provide?

What is the speed I should be getting?

Is there an add-on one could buy to increase the speed?

LG V30 Oreo

Hi!t

I saw that T-Mobile recently continued the rollout of android oreo 8.0 to the LG V30 LG-H932y

I updated my V30 on the original rollout date with LG Bridge and my phone has had some pretty nasty bugs ever since. I saw that the update was halted due to bugs that were a result of this update.

My questions is how do i update to the "newer" update if they both have the same build number/software version? Is the "newer" update the same from earlier this month and there weren't any bug fixes? Please help me out because i am confused.

Unable to online purchase Activated Nano Sim card with prepaid pay as you go $3 per month plan

I've been trying to open up an additional TMobile line to move a Verizon land line number over to TMobile under the $3 per month (prepaid) pay as you go plan.

When I try this on the website I get the following error:

https://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/500.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/prepaid-plans-individual

Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

This occurs on multiple browsers. I can try and go in person to the Tmobile store but its annoying. I'm currently a customer paying about $200 a month for multiple phones for my family. My "contract" is running out and I'll be looking at other carriers now.

Cary

Digits not working behind firewall...

$

Digits (web site or app) on Windows 10 does not work behind a Sophos Firewall (UTM 9.x).

I have switched the Windows desktops to a hotspot and been successful in connecting, so I am very certain this is a port or web filtering issue.

I have seen several threads on opening ports and filters but the list to open was unreasonable (suggesting opening every port from the end of public to 65K is not even maintaining a firewalls port security) both in length and depth.

For digits to be useful behind any corporate firewall a realistic set of filtering an port pinholes needs to be made available.

Does anyone know of such a list or is one in development by t-mobile?

Thanks,

-Alex-

Poor coverage in Southern Wisconsin, West of Paddock Lake

Recently joined Tmobile and live in the Chicago area  so far, so good. Went to Lake Geneva over the weekend. Drove 94 to 50 and went West. Once we got past Paddock Lake, either no service or 1 or 2 bars of call only. We were at a hotel on 50 and 12 in Lake Geneva and got no service and no wifi calling inside the hotel. Outside got weak LTE  and went to a restaurant a few miles North got 1 or 2 bars of edge. This is for both phones,  s8 active and iPhone 8. What gives? These are populated areas and well traveled. I would not consider them rural. Does band 12 work there? Will these areas be improved?

How can I get customer service?

Is the TM-AC1900 ROUTER still supported?????

$
0
0

A year or so ago, T-mobile provided me with a TM-AC1900 ROUTER ... (ASUS rebranded to T-Mobile).  They also provided a Personal Cell Spot 4G LTE which I refer to as an Extender or perhaps Booster.

Started having trouble with the router.  Called T-mobile and was told I can exchange it for (even) an updated ROUTER at my local store.  Went to store with old one and exchanged it for a 'newer' one.  Got it home after closing time and discovered it was a (updated) Extender.  At that point, I am ROUTERless.  The store is now closed for the night.

Called T-mobile.  Explained the situation and was told the right device would be shipped promptly to the house.  Got a confirming email ... indicated what was coming was ANOTHER Extender.  Called TMO again.  The shipment was cancelled and 'the right device' would ship out promptly.  Next confirming email ... ANOTHER Extender.

I even emailed the President of T-Mobile.  I am not lying.  By the time his assistant contacted me, I had yet ANOTHER device (PROMISING IT WAS THE RIGHT THING) en route.  His assistant asked if everything was OK now ... I told her 'Presumably .. yes .. but I was not sure exactly WHAT was coming".  She said she would check with me NEXT THURSDAY (from today ... FRIDAY).  I then got ANOTHER confirming email .... an EXTENDER is on the way ... AGAIN.

I grabbed the box the original (and only) ROUTER first came in.  I grabbed the box the NEW EXTENDER came in and headed for the store.  After a LONG explanation, they started researching.  Here is what I was just told an hour or so ago:

The ROUTER is discontinued by T-mobile.  They no longer provide one.  If one has one, it will stop working correctly.  They are expected to procure their OWN router.  FIRST I EVER HEARD of this.

The EXTENDER is still provided but there is an updated one that I needed ... so I can keep the NEW EXTENDER .. BUT NEED TO RETURN THE OLD ONE.

Sooo, I asked the store MANAGER what new router do I need (to work with the new Extender)?.  She did not have a firm answer.  Soooo, I ordered one on Amazon  .. another Asus AC1900 which, I believe is NOT rebranded and is a updated router from the old one, and should work fine with the new Extender.  The manager at the T-mobile store agreed with me.

Does anyone KNOW for certain this NEW router will work with the new extender.  I am worried for some stupid reason it won't.

Strange to me that I was never notified of this T-mobile change in the first place.  NO one at T-Mobile phone-in knew of this (a router provision being discontinued).  The only person who seemed to be informed of what the problem is/was is a VERY YOUNG waif of a girl at the T-mobile store who knows more than I do about routers etc.  I swear she did not look over 14 .. but seemed to know what she was talking about.  Not even the President's assistant ever mentioned any of this.  I will let her know on Thursday.

A T-MOBILE provided ROUTER is not even in their inventory anymore.
